Future Directions in Finance
This programme is also a partner of Future Directions in Finance (FDF), an initiative launched by our partners Prof. Klaus Möller and Prof. Frank Verbeeten in 2019. The survey targets financial professionals and gathers their expectations regarding the future development of the finance function. It covers topics such as strategic and process priorities, IT and ESG applications, as well as the development of competencies. In 2025, eight European universities surveyed 588 finance professionals, most of them CFOs, across nine countries.
